Fun Activities for Youth

The Muskogee Teen Center is a safe place for all youth to come and enjoy what we have to offer. That does not just mean after school. The 8th & 9th Grade Center at Alice Robertson teamed up with the Muskogee Teen Center this year to provide a fun morning of activities for their Rougher Card holder to celebrate their accomplishments throughout the year. We are hoping this will be come a regular event throughout the year as it also brought us many new members to the teen center. We have also been invited to participate in the ICE program after school to provide service learning and project ideas to get them involved in the community as well. We feel that the more people that hear about what we are doing and then experiencing it will help us to grow even more and be able to provide further enrichment activities. Muskogee Public Schools Special Education Program also arranged for kids and adults from Camp Bennett to come a few times during their summer program to enjoy what our facility has to offer. As both programs are from Muskogee Public Schools they are really working hard to publicize the Teen Center to their students and are available to assist us with finding tutors whenever we have a need.
